About the Bay Area
One of the most innovative enterprise zones in the world, Silicon Valley has established itself as the
center for cutting edge technology. At the forefront of the communications revolution, Silicon Valley
includes places like Palo Alto, Stanford University, Menlo Park, Cupertino and San Jose. These
places are home to technology and communications leaders such as Hewlett Packard, Apple
Computer, Intel, Cisco Systems and others. While in Silicon Valley, visitors can easily learn how this
revolution began: Visit
Intel Museum, which features an interactive tour introducing visitors to the
truly micro world of computer chips, or go to the
Tech Museum of Innovation, showcasing hi-tech
exhibits of the past, present and future of Silicon Valley. Of course, not all of Silicon Valley is made
of computer chips: Tour the
Winchester Mystery House, a "beautiful but bizarre" mansion, or the
Mission Santa Clara de Asis, the eighth of twenty-one throughout the state.

Apart from the Silicon Valley, travel a few miles to
San Francisco and visit tourist favorites such as:
Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, and Golden Gate Park. Take a tour of SBC Park, home of the
San
Francisco Giants, or drive by Candlestick Point, home to the 49ers.
Spectacular View from the third deck at SBC Park!!!
