years later, at a mutual friend and present Groomsman's birthday party. They talked a bit during
the party, and the next day the same friend convinced a very tired Joann to go over to Josh's to
watch all the Rocky movies. (Don't ask!) Josh was so impressed when Joann admitted that she,
too, hates Soccer, that he had to ask for her number. (HA) The rest is History.

crowds that were there due to Fleet Week. So on
October 18, 2003, they headed up to the City. They went
to the Clift Hotel in Union Square, and when they arrived,
Josh told Joann to sit down, because he had something
for her for her birthday. Joann sat, and he pulled out an
envelope. She opened it, and discovered two coupons for
In and Out Burger!! Figuring this really wasn't her gift,
she looked up to see Josh on one knee, and a gorgeous
ring in a box. Her reaction? She started laughing!!! Poor
Josh. Of course, she said yes, but the giggle fit lasted a
good couple hours!
